What do CNPs believe?
CNPs believe that each individual is biochemically unique, and they assess individual nutritional imbalances and weaknesses. CNPs can develop a custom program completely unique to you, based on your food preferences and intolerances or sensitivities, lifestyle and genetic predispositions.
CNPs are recognized and approved by the Certified Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada (CNPCC), and the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC).
What is a Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner (RNCP)?
An RNCP is a registered member of the IONC, the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. The IONC was established in 1983 to ensure the public that practitioners are meeting high educational standards.
What is the main focus of nutritional counselling with a RNCP?
Ultimately, the cells in our bodies are built from the raw materials we eat. The more suitable our food choices are to our specific requirements, the better cell structure we can build. Since every person is biochemically unique, individual nutritional deficiencies and weaknesses need to be assessed. This is important because the nutritional deficiency symptoms of today (i.e. poor digestion, low energy, unbalanced hormones, etc.) often migrate to the diseases of tomorrow (i.e. Irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes and heart disease). The report card of Canadian health comes back with epidemic rates of obesity, cancer, type-2 diabetes, and heart disease, motivating many to seek the services at Better Living Nutrition. Looking at an even bigger picture, why not keep those cells healthy and skip the suffering that goes along with our modern-day disorders? Prevention is key, and Glenda can help you with that. The goal at Better Living Centre is to help you live well and BE WELL!
Since every person is bio-chemically unique, individual nutritional imbalances and weaknesses must be assessed
A Holistic Practitioner will introduce new dietary habits, incorporating the latest nutritional breakthroughs, but it may be difficult to achieve optimal health through food alone.
Environmental pollution, metal toxicity, micro-organism imbalances, and food sensitivities are among other factors that must be considered in constructing a nutritional program.
Glenda will help you fall in love with nourishing, healthy, beautiful food…
one morsel at a time.
Working with Better Living Nutrition is complementary to any healthcare provider such as your family doctor, specialist or naturopathic doctor and can provide a solid foundation to
